Harman Launches New Soundcraft Ui Series Digital Mixers Following Acquisition of SM Pro Audio

Harman confirmed the acquisition of SM Pro Audio, based in Melbourne, Australia. The company was incorporated into the Harman Professional Division as a developer of pro audio and musical instruments (MI). At the 2015 NAMM Show, Harman launched the new Soundcraft Ui Series of remote-controlled digital mixers, featuring an integrated, onboard Wi-Fi router, as previously introduced by SM Pro Audio in April 2014.

AwoX announced the acquisition of 100% of the shares of French acoustics technology company Cabasse from the Canon Group. Canon had acquired Cabasse in 2006. AwoX is known for its innovative Awox StriimLIGHT Bluetooth and Wi-Fi LED light bulbs, equipped with a 10W speaker, allowing to stream music stored on a tablet, smartphone or computer and supporting multiroom applications thanks to a synchronization function.
