Mavin Introduces Air-X True Wireless Earbuds with 10 Hour Battery Life and 100ft Connection Based on Qualcomm QCC3026 Platform

Mavin, a Californian brand of wireless and digital audio solutions, announced the Air-X true wireless earbuds, , which claims to be the first to last 10-hours with one standalone charge, and up to 50 hours with its included charging case. The brand, winners of the German iF Design Award, the Red Dot Design Award and the CES Innovation Product Design Award, implemented Qualcomm’s latest chipset for premium wireless headphones. Air-X is available on Indiegogo with Super Early Bird specials starting at $99 (44% off regular price of $179).

Available in black and white versions, the new Earin M-2 true wireless stereo earphones introduced at IFA 2018 coincide also with a reimagined vision for the Swedish lifestyle brand, harkening back to its entrepreneurial roots. The relaunched M-2's feature improved patented technology and all-new color variances to mark a reset of the iconic earphones that launched the company and, to this day, remain among the smallest and lightest on the market. The Earin M-2 are now available in black and white versions in territories around the globe.

Among the many headphone-related announcements made at IFA 2018 in Berlin, Sennheiser finally entered the true wireless stereo (TWS) category with its new Momentum True Wireless earbuds. As the company states "These exquisitely crafted Bluetooth earphones bring the uncompromised audio performance and iconic style of the Momentum headphone range to a truly wireless form for the first time." The company's entry in the TWS space uses an updated Bluetooth 5 platform in what is otherwise a refined, understated design.

Qualcomm announced the QCC3026, a flash-programmable Bluetooth Audio System-on-Chip (SoC) that is designed to reduce power consumption by up to 50% compared to previous generation entry-level flash devices. The new SoC is also engineered to help manufacturers simply and quickly develop and commercialize feature optimized truly wireless headsets, and extends the Company’s portfolio of low power Bluetooth audio solutions following the announcement of the flagship QCC5100 Bluetooth SoC series earlier this year.

Hong Kong-based firms MF Jebsen Electronics and AumeoAudio, the company that pioneered personalized audio on Kickstarter, have teamed up to launch Heari. The new concept was built on the success of Aumeo’s Headphone Personalizer. Heari is now campaigning on Kickstarter with two headphone models Powered by AumeoAudio, featured patented technology that measures each person’s hearing sensitivities to offer tailored sound, not only for music but also for awareness enhancing.

Designed to eliminate 90% of background noise and offering up to 7 hours of Bluetooth and ANC playtime at only $99, the new JLab Epic Executive Wireless Active Noise Canceling Earbuds are turning heads at IFA 2017 in Berlin. This is the first major incursion from the San Diego-based company outside the North American market, where they will be featuring also the Epic Air True Wireless Sport Earbuds, Party Series Wireless Multiroom Bluetooth Speakers and JBuds Pro Signature Bluetooth Earbuds.
