Sound Particles, the innovative 3D audio production software company, released a new app based on its original Space Controller plugin introduced in 2021, now created specifically for direct control over OSC with Nuendo and SPAT Revolution. Space Controller OSC connects a mobile phone to Nuendo or SPAT Revolution and links the physical movements of the device to the software's panning tools by simply pointing the phone to where the user wants sounds to come from. Austrian start-up SevenBel has developed a method to make noise sources visible, enabling engineers to prevent undesirable noise in buildings or devices. The company's Sound Scanner acoustic camera solutions have been developed for these applications, combining a rotating sensor unit, a mobile app, and a cloud service. High-tech printed circuit boards from Austria Technologie & Systemtechnik (AT&S) are part of the sensor units that make this affordable noise measurement solution possible.

Speechly, a voice technology startup from Finland, launched a new developer tool that lets users convert an Alexa skill into a Speechly application that work across the web and mobile applications. The Speechly application can be used to enable Reactive Voice User Interfaces across all major browsers and in mobile apps. The announcement was made live on stage, during the second day of the 2021 VOICE Summit in Arlington, Virginia. The tool was released as a public beta, with plans for quick iteration in partnership with users.
