DirectOut’s new PRODIGY.MP multifunction audio processor follows the successful launch of its sister product, the PRODIGY.MC modular audio converter that spearheaded the recent introduction of the PRODIGY Series. The new PRODIGY.MP is a multifunction audio processor that provides flexible I/O, dual networked audio, DSP (EQ, Delay, Limiter, Matrix/Mixing, Inserts…), Sample Rate Conversion, multiple sync generation/handling/distribution and powerful hard- and software, all housed in a 2U rack frame. The processor supports networking selectable from Dante, RAVENNA and SoundGrid.

Crest Audio Launches PB-32 Soundgrid-to-Dante Bridge for Fully Digital Desk-To-Loudspeaker PA Solution

Crest Audio, part of Peavey Commercial Audio, has announced the PB-32 SoundGrid-to-Dante network bridge that provides the connection between Crest Audio’s flagship Tactus digital mixing system and the new powered Versarray Pro line array system. The PB-32 will enable the audio signal to remain in the digital domain from the desk to the Dante-enabled Versarray Pro PA system. It may also be deployed by any other audio systems utilizing the Dante audio networking protocol, thereby also offering compliance with the AES67 interoperability standard.

DirectOut Technologies Integrates Waves SoundGrid in Its SG.MADI Converter

Waves Audio has joined forces with networking, routing and conversion specialist DirectOut Technologies to include Waves SoundGrid technology in DirectOut’s SG.MADI converter. DirectOut Technologies' latest development, SG.MADI, is an audio format converter that links MADI signals with Waves SoundGrid Audio-over-Ethernet. The unit includes analog I/Os allow for immediate interfacing with the network audio and the MADI signal, including two microphone inputs.
