Lavoce Introduces New Midrange Drivers, Served Three Ways

Lavoce Italiana will be distributing its latest 2019 Product Catalog and introducing several exciting new drivers for professional audio applications during Prolight+Sound 2019. Lavoce Italiana is getting ready for one of its most important catalog expansions in the company's more than 30 years designing and manufacturing loudspeakers. Not only Lavoce will be distributing its latest 2019 Product Catalog, but they also have several exciting new drivers to show during Prolight+Sound 2019 in Frankfurt. Probably the most visible at their booth will be the new range of large voice coil, high power handling, 18” and 21” subwoofers. VC

Lavoce Italiana continues to unveil the new drivers that it will be launching at Prolight+Sound 2018 (Frankfurt, April 10-13). The transducer company will be showing the new MAN062.00 high-power 6.5” neodymium midrange; a new 12" model, the WAF123.02 with a ferrite magnet purposely designed for mid-band applications; and the new and powerful 21” subwoofer, the SAF214.50, able to offer super high excursion using a 4.5” CCAW sandwiched voice coil and a ferrite motor.

LaVoce has officially upgraded its range of the 25 mm (1”) exit high frequency drivers, by releasing two new 44 mm (1.7") voice coil units. The ferrite DF10.17 and the DN10.17, with its compact Neodymium motor, are entirely designed with Finite Elements Modeling and Analysis and feature an high temperature polymeric diaphragm with vented surround, together with an optimized phase plug design for a linear, smooth and extended frequency response with extremely low distortion and high efficiency.

LaVoce continues to extend its product catalog now introducing a new 15” high performance low-frequency ferrite driver WAF154.00, entirely designed in Italy with Finite Elements Modeling and Analysis methods. Featuring 1500 W AES power handling and high mechanical excursion, the transducer delivers 97 dB Sensitivity with really limited harmonic distortion.
