DirectOut Technologies has implemented DO.Net daemon to its EXBOX.MD Dante/MADI interface to remotely access and control the entire ANDIAMO Series. The combination of an EXBOX.MD and any ANDIAMO also upgrades the popular audio converter series with a Dante IO. The latest globcon beta, released at the same time, also introduces source selection (Auto/Manual) and MIDI triggering to EARS, the automatic input switching function of the EXBOX.MD, upgrading and completing this unique feature of the audio networking device.

Studio Technologies growing line of audio-over-Ethernet products is receiving wide recognition and reflects the growing adoption of audio networking solutions and a changing media infrastructure. The Illinois-based manufacturer introduced two new audio interfaces for applications that use the SMPTE ST 2110 suite of standards – the Model 5512 Audio Interface and the Model 5518 Mic/Line Interface. RME announced new Digiface Dante and Digiface AVB mobile audio interfaces during NAB 2018 (Las Vegas, April 9–12). The German manufacturer expanded the broadcast community’s connectivity options with the Digiface Dante audio interface that enables the transmission of up to 64 Dante channels and 64 MADI channels via a single USB 3.0 connection, while the Digiface AVB enables the transmission of up to 256 network audio channels.
