Solid State Logic Announces Four New Products for its Dante and AES67 Network I/O Range

Solid State Logic announced the introduction of four new broadcast specification audio interfaces for Dante/AES67 audio networks; the A16.D16, the A32, the D64 and the Dante PCIeR. The release of four new devices simultaneously demonstrates SSL’s commitment to providing a comprehensive collection of audio interfaces and converters for use as standalone units or in conjunction with SSL’s growing range of Dante/AES67 enabled Broadcast and Live production consoles.

Attero Tech accelerated the pace of product introductions in direct response to the growing popularity of audio-over-IP and wireless solutions in professional audio and commercial AV applications. The Fort Wayne, Indiana, company has just launched a new website to promote its fast growing catalog of solutions, featuring already many new products recently introduced at InfoComm 2017, including its new Synapse series of high channel density Dante/AES67 audio interfaces.

Following the worldwide success of the original RedNet range of audio networking solutions for studios and events, in 2015 Focusrite announced four second-generation models, all based around the industry-standard Dante audio-over-IP networking system. Now, Focusrite has expanded the series with two new AD/DA converters and is announcing availability for the RedNet PCIeR Card, the RedNet AM2 Stereo Dante headphone amplifier, and the flagship Red 4Pre Thunderbolt 2 and Pro Tools HD compatible audio interface.

Waves Audio and DiGiCo have expanded their DiGiGrid line of advanced audio interfaces with DiGiGrid IOS, an audio interface with a built-in SoundGrid DSP server for plugin processing. DiGiGrid IOS features eight mic/line inputs with broadcast/studio-quality preamps, eight line outputs, two headphone outputs, and MIDI, S/PDIF and AES ins and outs.

In July 2014, Mark of The Unicorn (MOTU) surprised the industry announcing a range of USB/Thunderbolt audio interfaces complemented with Audio Video Bridging (IEEE 802.1 AVB) network technology. Since AVB requires the use of dedicated (AVB-certified) routers and switchers, MOTU also announced its own AVB Switch. Now, MOTU reinforced the range with two new AVB 24-channel interfaces.
