Merging Technologies Announces Merging+Anubis SPS and Merging Audio Device AoIP Interface Updates

In 2019, Merging Technologies announced a new ambitious concept, promising to expand significantly the whole audio-over-IP ecosystem in multiple applications. Merging+Anubis caused a ripple of excitement across the industry. Now, Merging announced the availability of Anubis SPS, featuring a second RJ45 connection on the rear panel in order to offer full ST2022-7 redundancy compliance, and adding NMOS features for easier integration into a complete IP infrastructure. In addition, Merging launched its Merging Audio Device multi-ASIO driver.

Anubis will be seen by many potential users as a compact audio recording interface with all the high-end features and quality of Merging's products, while also being a versatile extension for Ravenna, AES67, and ST2110 audio networking systems in live productions, studio recording and broadcasting.

MUTEC from Berlin has started shipping its new MC-3+ Smart Clock USB. The MC-3+USB uniquely combines an audiophile USB interface with an audio re-clocker designed for the demands of high-end consumer audio. The MC-3+USB enables computer audio via USB, optimizes jitter-affected digital sources, improves any D/A converter, serves as a digital audio switching matrix, format converter, master clock and exports and converts native DSD signals from the computer.

Roland launched the Super UA, a high-performance USB 2.0 audio interface with 1-bit DSD and 32-bit PCM playback, with up to four simultaneous channels of 24-bit PCM recording and a high-performance headphone amplifier with two outputs. The Super UA features an impressive die-cast metal design with detachable breakout module.

Roland launched a new generation USB audio interface with DSD high-resolution audio support. The new Roland Mobile UA interface features new proprietary S1LKi technology in a minimalistic design with four channels of DSD and PCM audio in a small, bus-powered device.
