AudioControl Announces GaN-based Bijou Series Amplifiers with Integrated eARC

December 16 2024, 01:10
Ahead of the ISE 2025 show in Barcelona, AudioControl unveiled three new amplifier models bearing the Bijou Series name that originally helped the brand achieve global recognition in the residential market. The new Bijou Series offers a range of three high-performance GaN-based amplifiers for system installation professionals that combine improved audio quality with HDMI eARC and Dante connectivity from a discreet, space-saving but robust 1U footprint.

AudioControl designed the Bijou Series of integrated eARC amplifiers to address the growing demand for audio enhancement to support large-screen TVs, micro-LED wall installations, and many other professionally installed entertainment system applications. Combining a compact design with state-of-the-art GaN amplification and Dante networking, these Bijou amplifiers have been engineered from the ground up to provide professional AV installers with robust, versatile solutions for both new installations and system upgrades, delivering unparalleled sound quality for any space.

The series features three Bijou models to suit any application. The entry-level Bijou 2100 is a 2.1-channel amplifier with HDMI eARC, while the Bijou 3100 is an alternative 3.1-channel model. The Bijou 5100 is a complete 5.1-channel amplifier that is Dante-enabled for the ultimate in networked high-performance, multi-zone, scalable audio solutions.

HDMI eARC connectivity is standard on all three Bijou models, simplifying installation by reducing cable clutter while providing support for Dolby Atmos and DTS format sources, providing immersive audio experiences combined with the simplicity of operation that users demand. And at the core of the renewed Bijou Series are cutting-edge GaN Class-D amplifier modules, delivering unprecedented power and efficiency from a compact design, and able to drive even the most demanding speakers.

Designed with professional installers in mind, the Bijou Series offers essential features such as IP control for effortless compatibility with Control4 and other popular control systems, an intuitive web configuration interface, and configurable line outputs for extended system flexibility. Bijou amplifiers can be easily integrated into any setup, making them versatile solutions for both new installations and system upgrades.

The three new compact and cool-running designs are able to fit seamlessly into any environment, delivering exceptional audio quality without compromising room aesthetics. With a low-profile 1U half-rack form factor, these unobtrusive solutions can be installed anywhere — even behind TVs. And with convenient mounting options, integrators are able to deliver elevated audio experiences virtually anywhere.

The AudioControl Bijou Series will become available January, 2025 and will be presented at the AVPro Global booth during ISE 2025.
