Fresh from another company buyout, AudioControl will be attending CEDIA Expo in Denver, CO, reenergized and focused on presenting a range of innovative solutions. Designed based on market trends and feedback from system integrators, AudioControl’s newest amplifiers and mini-chassis surround receivers deliver the latest technologies while creating opportunities for integration professionals. The company will introduce Dante network connectivity to its successful AudioControl Director Model M6800 multi-zone amplifier, and launch two compact-chassis surround receivers to deliver Dolby Atmos and DTS:X Pro processing in any zone.

Based in Seattle, WA since 1977 AudioControl has a long history of creating successful Made in USA products for integrators worldwide and backing them up with superior customer service and a 5-year warranty. AudioControl Pro offers audio solutions for residential and commercial applications. Now an AVPro Global company, the company's product lineup includes power amplifiers, multi-zone amplifiers, network amplifiers, 70-volt amplifiers, single-zone amplifiers, subwoofer amplifiers, AV processors, AV receivers, and AV signal extenders.

Highlights from AudioControl for CEDIA 2023 include an ultimate-performance multi-zone matrix amplifier with available Dante connectivity and two compact surround receivers engineered to accommodate the needs of A/V integrators.

The successful AudioControl Director Model M6800 multi-zone amplifier is now available with Dante digital audio networking capability, continuing the company’s unwavering commitment to provide the most advanced, high-performance entertainment solutions for installers.

"Last year, we successfully introduced Dante network connectivity as an option on our CM-Series 70-volt Dual Mode amplifiers, providing integrators with a new level of performance for landscape entertainment systems and beyond," explained Chris Kane, Vice President Of Sales & Marketing at AudioControl. "We are excited to add this amazing technology to the award-winning Director Model M6800, one of our most popular multi-zone amplifiers."

Dante delivers uncompressed, multichannel digital audio over a standard IP network using readily available CAT5e, CAT6 or fiber optic cable with near-zero latency. It empowers integrators to deliver best quality audio to every zone without being tethered to costly analog cable runs that are susceptible to signal degradation, especially over longer runs. The AudioControl Director M6800 amplifier with available Dante connectivity is the ultimate multi-zone amplifier for any application including audio over IP.
AudioControl's popular Director Series amplifiers deliver the ultimate entertainment experience and performance. The Director Model M6800 offers the features integrators need to provide unrivaled audio performance across any size the music system, including a true, conservatively measured 100 watts/8-Ohms, 200 watts/4-Ohms per channel into 16-channels. The Model M6800 also features a powerful DSP engine that includes graphic and parametric equalization by zone, plus a switching matrix that delivers the highest quality entertainment programming to any zone with unmatched flexibility.

With the Director Model M6800 amplifier, integrators can tailor the sound to each zone based on DSP profiles of leading speaker brands included as part of AudioControl’s Sound Partners Program, and then fine-tune the sound based on the acoustic properties of any space. The AudioControl Director Model M6800 can be used as a standalone solution or as part of a complete smart home environment with drivers available for popular 3rd party control systems including Crestron, Savant, RTI and Control 4. Most critically, AudioControl has provided integrators with 16-channels of premium performance from a 2U chassis, conserving critical rack space without compromising sound quality.

Mini Chassis Surround Receivers
At CEDIA Expo 2023 AudioControl will be debuting two compact-chassis surround receivers that will enable integrators to deliver Dolby Atmos for Home Audio and DTS:X Pro processing in any zone. Both models are only 1U and feature AudioControl’s astonishing adaptation of a GaN-based high-power amplifier platform. The Bijou3 offers three powered channels for L/C/R applications at 100-watts per channel plus a subwoofer output and two additional audio outputs for system flexibility. The CXR-5 AVR Mini offers five powered channels at 65-watts per channel plus a subwoofer output and two additional audio outputs for easy 5.1 or 7.1 system configurations.

Both models offer high power amplification, and an eARC input from a compact 1U form factor that can be housed in an AV rack or mounted behind the TV. These compact surround receivers from AudioControl represent the ultimate solution for multichannel audio/video in any room. Dirac Live room correction will be offered as an option. Integrators will be able to effortlessly manage system configuration remotely.

"Clients are asking for a surround sound experience away from their main home theater—and these new mini receivers have been engineered to deliver superb performance in media rooms, bedrooms, workout rooms, home offices, and more," explains Chris Kane, VP of Sales at AudioControl.

The compact 1U chassis of the AudioControl Bijou3 and CXR-5 lend themselves to easy installation in convenient locations such as behind the display, inside a cabinet, or in a small equipment rack, making them ideal for theater projects where space is limited. The eARC input on each model enables integrators to deliver the outstanding clarity of 192kHz, 24-bit uncompressed audio to any zone, distinguishing their system designs by creating a superior entertainment experience. The CXR-5 provides three additional HDMI inputs as well. Drivers are available for popular 3rd party smart home ecosystems including Crestron, Savant, RTI and Control 4.
