RME Audio is once again pushing the boundaries of its unique architecture for multichannel audio interfaces, this time with the MADIface XT II. This new compact USB 3.0 audio interface supports a mind-boggling 394-channels of digital audio up to 24-bit/192kHz with comprehensive connectivity and control options for live and studio work. As RME explains, compared to its predecessor, the MADIface XT II features updated digital and analog circuitry and surpasses the first generation with significantly improved analog and digital performance.

Dirac setup an immersive system on a Volvo to showcase the potential applications for automotive.

Neumann released MA 1 v2.0, the latest version of its MA 1 Automatic Monitor Alignment room correction solution, now with optional multichannel extension. In addition to many detail improvements, for the first time, the optional Multichannel Extension for MA 1 Release 2.0 makes it possible to align surround and immersive installations with the same precision.
