AudioControl Announces GaN-based Bijou Series Amplifiers with Integrated eARC

Ahead of the ISE 2025 show in Barcelona, AudioControl unveiled three new amplifier models bearing the Bijou Series name that originally helped the brand achieve global recognition in the residential market. The new Bijou Series offers a range of three high-performance GaN-based amplifiers for system installation professionals that combine improved audio quality with HDMI eARC and Dante connectivity from a discreet, space-saving but robust 1U footprint.

Registration is now open for Integrated Systems Europe (ISE), the world-renowned annual systems integration show that combines the commercial and residential installation sectors in one, from lighting to audio with projectors and displays in the middle. Returning to the Fira de Barcelona Gran Vía from 4-7 February, the ISE team is promising the most dynamic and engaging show yet, with a host of new initiatives and features, now expanding to Hall 8.1, accessed via the North Access point.

AES70py, a development project for an MIT licensed AES70 Library for Python programming, is making progress and receiving industry support. According to Matt Hardy (DeusO GmbH), the key point for the AES70 Python Project vision is to promote an IT convergence with network audio devices, meeting the pressing need for control systems within existing ecosystems: "AES70py offers a way to make this happen easily. It's also great for manufacturers doing things like automatic testing AES70 devices."

L-Acoustics unveiled HYRISS (Hyperreal Immersive Sound Space), a new audio solution that the French manufacturer says is "set to redefine how we experience spaces through sound." In-wall architectural speakers, active acoustics, and advanced L-ISA spatial audio processing, are the core of the new system. Intended to bring sound to the center of spaces designed for living and gathering, HYRISS combines audio with visual aesthetics in a new speaker topology that was designed for immersive environments.
