
Aurender Music Servers First to Support RAVENNA Networking
Merging Technologies announced that it will be showing an Aurender X100 Music Server directly connected to a RAVENNA AoIP network and using a MERGING+NADAC as the DAC. This significant move sees Aurender be the first manufacturer to take advantage of the benefits that a RAVENNA network can bring to home applications, as part of a multi-room or multi-zone system without any of the traditional cable length limitations of USB connectivity.

Avid Unveils Pro Tools 2018 and Multiple Music and Audio Product Innovations at NAMM 2018
At NAMM 2018, Avid announced Avid ArtistCentral, Pro Tools 2018, Sibelius 2018, Waves Audio integration, an expanded Avid Artist Community, and more. Highlight for the Avid user community was, no doubt, the announcement of the latest release of Pro Tools 2018 with new features including Track Presets, retrospective MIDI record, MIDI editing enhancements, Playlist Comping enhancements, and much more. A new version of EUCON software was also announced.

Adam Hall Group Presents LD Systems MAUI 5 GO Mobile PA at Winter NAMM 2018

Audient Announces New iD44 USB Audio Interface
British manufacturer Audient raised the stakes once again with the release of its latest, and to date most powerful 24-bit/96kHz desktop audio interface. The new Audient iD44 combines four Class-A Audient preamplifiers, high quality AD/DA converters, two ADAT I/Os for digital expansion, two discrete JFET instrument inputs, two fully balanced inserts, two independent stereo headphone outputs and two speaker outputs, in a metal chassis with configurable function keys, and dedicated Talkback, Dim and Cut controls.

Celestion Debuts F12-X200 Full-Range Guitar Loudspeaker Designed Specifically for Use with Amp Modeling
During NAMM 2018, Celestion announced the F12-X200, the first guitarist’s speaker designed from the ground up for use with guitar amp and speaker cabinet emulations. The new F12-X200 is effectively a coaxial design, combining a compression driver and a 12" woofer in a pressed steel chassis with a 2" round copper voice coil and ceramic magnet, able to reproduce a full range of frequencies from 60 Hz to 20,000Hz, with a power rating of 200W at 8Ω and 96dB sensitivity.

Neumann Launches Re-Issue of the Famous U 67 Tube Microphone
