Beyma Introduces New Products at ISE 2024

Playing (almost) at home, Acustica Beyma leveraged the opportunity of another Integrated Systems Europe show to welcome his vast network of OEM customers and distributors to its booth, and present the results of the company's latest engineering efforts. Beyma introduced several new products at the Barcelona show, including a new high-performance subwoofer for the LEX series, a new generation line array waveguide, and a high performance 8" coaxial transducer.

Over the past two years, Acustica Beyma expanded its R&D efforts significantly. The results are now visible as Beyma introduced a completely new family of outstanding drivers at ISE 2022. Beyma's R&D department used the latest simulation tools and a rigorous material selection process to create a new set of transducers that crossover from pure professional audio applications into the studio and high end world. A significant new range of woofers and tweeters with multiple voicing options that will appeal to speaker designers.

This Test Bench characterizes the Beyma 12LEX1300Nd 12" driver from Beyma's new LEX Series. This latest design features a FEA-optimized neodymium magnet structure and 4" voice coil, and is targeted at two- and three-way PA speakers, or band-pass subwoofer designs. The entire woofer is optimized with a substantial set of features for very high-performance, including the company's unique Maltcross forced convention cooling system. While many other OEM pro audio driver manufacturers have temporarily retreated and quarantined during the COVID-19 pandemic, others opted to stick to their original plans and albeit the cancellations of major trade-shows, maintained their product schedule. Benefiting from some additional time to refine designs, Beyma continued its search to break the limits of acoustic technology and now unveiled the latest QLEX woofer series, developed to offer the extra energy and performance that the latest generation of sound reinforcement systems demand.

In clear party mode to celebrate its 50th anniversary, Spanish professional loudspeaker manufacturer Beyma introduced several new products at this year’s Prolight+Sound show in Frankfurt. The debuts include three new high performance subwoofers that expand even more the unique LEX range, with its mix of artistic and optimized mechanical design. Beyma also expanded its portfolio in the woofers section with a new 14” driver, a new format for the company, and introduces a new 1,4” exit small compression driver.

Beyma is celebrating its 50th anniversary as a professional loudspeaker manufacturer, and the Spanish company has just launched a brand new website that signals the company's long-standing tradition has a successful supplier of reliable and innovative speakers to many renowned pro audio brands throughout the world. The 50th anniversary celebrations have already started with Beyma's presence at the 2019 Winter NAMM show, and will continue throughout the year, including a party scheduled already for Prolight+Sound 2019 in Frankfurt, Germany.

Joining the concept and design of the successful 18LEX1600Nd introduced last year at Prolight+Sound, this year Beyma introduced two new high performance subwoofers, the new 21LEX1600Nd and 15LEX1600Nd. And to reinforce even more its woofer choices for 2018, the Spanish company announced a new family of 4 neodymium woofers with patented Maltcross technology. Beyma also unveiled three new compression drivers of small size.'
