Following its first presentation at the CES 2016 in Las Vegas, at the High End 2016 show In Munich Nagra Audio Technology Switzerland introduced the new Classic INT, a new integrated version of Nagra’s Classic Amp, now in production. The Munich presentations also included the Nagra HD Amp Statement power amplifier, and a preview of an expanded Classic line of components, including a Classic Tube Preamp and the new Nagra Classic DAC USB converter with DSD 2X and DXD support.

Analog Devices announced two series of low dropout regulators (LDOs) offering ultra-low noise performance that eliminate unwanted system noise and improve receiver, transmitter, and audio quality. Target applications for the new ADP176x and ADP715x LDOs include wireless base stations, wired communications, industrial instrumentation, high-end audio equipment, and medical devices.

USA Distribution Announced for Amadeus Philharmonia Speakers Co-designed by Jean Nouvel

French speaker designer Amadeus confirmed Source Systems, Ltd. as its US distributor for the Hi-Fi market for new speakers co-designed by world-renowned architect Jean Nouvel. The new USA distributor for Amadeus Philharmonia speakers expects speakers to be available in California by early February, 2016: for sale and for demonstrations. The new speakers retail in the US for $39,900 per pair.

Just in time for presentation at the IFA 2015 show in Berlin, the second-generation Tesla flagship headphones get a tuning resulting from modifications to the driver aiming to reduce undesirable vibrations and improve bass response. The planning for the High End Show 2015 is complete and all exhibition spaces are booked up. Promoted by the High End Society, the Munich show is the largest of its kind in the audio industry and the organizers are delighted at the fantastic response from the industry. Thiel Audio Introduced the TT1 three-way Loudspeaker at the 2015 CES Show. The TT1, together with the previously introduced bookshelf TM3, is part of the company’s new 3rd Avenue Collection and the first Thiel Audio speaker to be assembled in its new Nashville facility.
