Capital Audiofest is striving to become the premier East Coast Audio Event, having found a fabulous home with the renovated Hilton Hotel Rockville, the promoter’s plan is to keep the show there indefinitely. Last year’s show received raving reviews as “the show with the best sound” and the room acoustics’ have contributed a lot to that. The hotel is conveniently located at a major Metro rail line that leads directly to the center of Washington DC. Around the hotel there are great restaurants, pubs and shopping areas within walking distance.
The show’s team - Gary Gill, Christina Yuin, and Paul Elliott - put together one of the best audio shows, with great music and a welcoming organization. For 2016, the renovated Hilton will have more large listening rooms available and the promoters expect more exhibitors and have planned for more seminars and more live music.
Debuting in 2014, as part of Capital Audiofest, CanMania brings together headphone and personal audio manufacturers, vendors, and enthusiasts. This year CanMania will be completely taking over the Plaza Ballroom on the ground floor, with the best in personal audio and headgear. Almost 5500 square feet of exhibit space will make CanMania to be the largest yearly headphone and personal audio show in the Mid-Atlantic, and East Coast. New for 2016 will also be headphone and personal audio panel discussions in the conference auditorium.
The Hilton Hotel Rockville is located at the Twinbrook Metro Station, 1750 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD.
Hours for the show are Friday, July 8, from 12 pm to 8 pm (new hours); Saturday July 9 from 10 am to 6 pm; and Sunday July 10 from 10 to 4 pm.
