Southwest Audio Fest Set for March 15-17, in Dallas, Texas

From the same folks that organize the Capital Audiofest and Pacific Audio Fest, Southwest Audio Fest is a new consumer high-end hifi show that will be held March 15-17, 2024 in Dallas, TX, at the famous Hilton Anatole luxury resort hotel. Under the motto "High-End Audio meets High-End Luxury" the organization promises the best listening rooms experiences from an extensive list of Exhibitors and Brands.

In May 2016, following the Munich High End show, audioXpress published a short article preview of SB Acoustics' highly anticipated new drivers, including the brand's flagship TW29BN high-end beryllium dome tweeter, part of its Satori top performing range. The new drivers, also included new midrange and midwoofer drivers using new proprietary cones made with Egyptian papyrus fibers, available in 5" to 9.5" sizes. Thomas Perazella, an esteemed frequent contributor to audioXpress, had an idea for a new speaker project using those drivers!

Scheduled for November 3 – 5, 2017, Capital Audiofest (CAF), the popular East Coast show, will return to the Rockville Hilton Hotel at Twinbrook. Following the 2016 edition with the largest visitor turnout ever during three days, the promoters decided to keep the show dates in November at the same venue. The show benefited from the hotel's recent renovations, allowing for larger listening rooms and an expanded Marketplace and CanMania dedicated areas with 50% more space and more than 30 headphone companies.

After last year’s successful show at the Hilton Washington/Rockville, Capital Audiofest confirmed it will remain in the same location and has set the show dates as July 8–10, 2016. The Capital Audiofest is the Washington DC Metropolitan Area and Mid Atlantic Region’s only comprehensive quality audio event. This year CanMania will be completely taking over the Plaza Ballroom on the ground floor, with an expanded selection of the best in personal audio and headgear.

Saturday at 11:00AM, at Capitol Audiofest 2015, David Salz, Wireworld’s founder and designer will do a presentation sharing its experience on the question, “Do Cables Make a Difference?”. In the demonstration David Salz intends to prove the answer is a resounding yes with its Cable Polygraph procedure.

The Capital Audiofest - August 28-30, 2015 - is the Washington DC Metropolitan Area and Mid Atlantic Regions most comprehensive quality audio event. Striving to become the East Coasts premiere event, the show now takes place at the Hilton Hotel in Rockville, MD.
