Audient ASP880 Eight-channel Microphone Pre-Amplifier and ADC

During the Musikmesse and Prolight+Sound 2014 show in Frankfurt, British pro-audio manufacturer Audient celebrated its first product launch since Simon Blackwood’s acquisition of the company at the end of 2013. The ASP880 8-channel mic preamp and ADC is “the perfect front end to any DAW system”.

After releasing BIAS Amp modeler as an app for iOS, California-based software house Positive Grid decided to release BIAS Desktop as a plug-in for Mac OS X and Windows computers. A sign of the times? Anyway, the company’s Amp Matching technology, available on BIAS desktop will certainly be of great value in any studio.

Plugin Alliance announced availability of bx_refinement and bx_saturator V2, two new native plug-ins from German software developer Brainworx. bx_refinement smoothens out harsh-sounding recordings, while bx_saturator V2 adds saturation, drive, and distortion exactly where we want it.

Tracktion Software Corporation (TSC) announced the release of their Tracktion Version 5.3 software, packed with new ground breaking features. This very accessible and powerful application now allows Super Comping of MIDI clips, notes and audio clips, there is a new Plug-in browser, improved MIDI performance and a new and updated T5 interface color editor.
