Beyma Introduces New High Performance Subwoofers, Woofers and Small Compression Drivers

Joining the concept and design of the successful 18LEX1600Nd introduced last year at Prolight+Sound, this year Beyma introduced two new high performance subwoofers, the new 21LEX1600Nd and 15LEX1600Nd. And to reinforce even more its woofer choices for 2018, the Spanish company announced a new family of 4 neodymium woofers with patented Maltcross technology. Beyma also unveiled three new compression drivers of small size.'

Spanish renowned pro audio transducer manufacturer Acustica Beyma introduced several new products at this year's Prolight+Sound show in Frankfurt, including new high performance subwoofers, woofers and full range drivers as well as new compact compression drivers. The company literally rocked the show with the introduction of its new 18LEX1600Nd 18" subwoofer, celebrated in big style with a live performance featuring Beyma's own rock band!

This month’s Test Bench focuses on Acustica Beyma’s 12MC500 12” pro audio woofer. This unique woofer with competitive features and performance for a 2,5” voice coil ceramic magnet design features Malt Cross technology, Beyma´s patented advanced cooling system and handles up to 1000 w program power, managing to drastically reduce losses due to power compression. Beyma introduced several new products this year at the Prolight+Sound show in Frankfurt. Additions to the company’s catalogue include new compression drivers in neodymium and ferrite versions, low frequency speakers with new optimized pressed steel frame designs for very diverse applications and a new high quality pleated diaphragm tweeter. The new shallow mid frequency range was another highlight at Beyma’s booth in Frankfurt.

To celebrate one of its most popular - and most copied - catalogue drivers, Beyma has launched the CP22 Compression Tweeter 40th Anniversary edition. Still in high-demand after 40 years, the limited edition has an enhanced power handling of 30% compared to the standard version and only 3000 numbered units are available in a carefully packaged limited edition.

Pro sound OEM driver manufacturer Acustica Beyma's extensive line of pro sound coaxial drivers now includes the 12CXA400Nd 12” coaxial driver.
