Martin Audio to Showcase Immersive 3D Sound Experience at InfoComm with Astro Spatial Audio

Immersive audio, spatial audio or 3D experiences are the buzzwords for the current live sound industry, excited with the potential impact in new, more rewarding, entertainment experiences, and business increase. At this year’s InfoComm show in Las Vegas, Martin Audio will be introducing Sound Adventures, a 3D immersive sound experience in cooperation with its partner Astro Spatial Audio.

Audeze announced that the Mobius Indiegogo campaign has surpassed $1 Million, with more than 3,600 backers from around the world supporting the crowdfunding promotional campaign. The Audeze Mobius Indiegogo campaign will run until May 5th, where Mobius is available for $269 (33% off the MSRP of $399). Astro Spatial Audio (ASA) will highlight its approach to true object-based immersive audio when it returns to Prolight+Sound at the Frankfurt Messe, from April 10–13. The company will offer special presentations throughout the show, highlighting the deep integration between ASA's SARA II Premium Rendering Engine and third-party systems including TTA's Stagetracker II next-generation performer tracking, Alcons Audio loudspeakers, and QLab playback automation software.

The Audio Engineering Society New York 2017 convention will be co-located with the independent NAB Show New York 2017 event. In an adjacent exhibition hall, NAB Show New York exhibitors will be on hand with the latest video and distribution hardware and related sessions. Exhibits-Plus or All Access AES New York registration includes access to both exhibition halls. Naturally, the 143rd International AES Convention also features great content in audio for picture applications!

French speaker manufacturer Amadeus installed a 3D Sound system within Paris’ Chaillot National Theater, one of the most historical and prestigious performing arts venue in the French capital. Along with Solid State Logic (SSL), Lab.gruppen and Sonic Emotion, the four companies joined forces to design a one-of-a-kind electro-acoustic sound reinforcement system for the theater, beyond the limits of traditional technologies.
