Crazybaby Launches Crazybaby Air 1S True Wireless Earbuds

Following the introduction of Air, its popular flagship wireless earbuds, Crazybaby now wants to offer supreme acoustics, connectivity and 3D surround sound, and a reliable Bluetooth connection to music on-the-go with its new Air 1S true wireless model. Coming with a streamlined and ergonomic design, Crazybaby Air 1S aims to offer a comfortable fit, and a robust solution for sport athletes and users with active lifestyles.

Crazybaby was among the pioneering designers and developers of personal audio devices and true wireless earbuds. Now with real market experience resulting from the relative success of its original Crazybaby Air model, the company designed and launched the Crazybaby Air 1S focusing on a key usage profile: sports and active lifestyles. After all, the convenience of true wireless earbuds is ideal for that market, as long as the experience is robust (set and forget), and the price is sufficiently affordable, that users are not afraid of risking loosing or damaging the units.

Retailing for $159 USD, the Crazybaby Air 1S wireless earbuds offer an acoustically advanced and premium athletic design, delivering what Crazybaby claims to be “unprecedented drop-free connectivity.” Essentially, the Air 1S model was completely redeveloped as a sports-centric follow up to its flagship line of Air wireless earbuds. The Crazybaby Air 1S is not only an IPX6, sweat and rain resistant design, but is also competitively lightweight, to ensure a comfortable and secure fit for endurance athletes.

Upon first look, the Crazybaby Air 1S sticks to its roots with the use of carbon nanotube diaphragm technology that delivers a crisp, detailed sound, and embraces its award-winning, futuristic design that became a hit on Indiegogo in 2016. However, compared to its predecessor, the Air 1S introduces new features, such as 3D virtual surround sound support, noise reduction technology that blocks out noise created by the wind, and enhanced bass. What Crazybaby calls "3D virtual surround sound" is basically a built-in DSP algorithm that simulates enhanced spatial sound.

Even though Crazybaby doesn’t detail full specifications for the new model, the Air 1S earbuds already implement updated Bluetooth technology, allowing also for lower power. Total battery life from the earbuds plus the compact tube charger reaches up to 12 hours and supports faster charging.

For robust connectivity, the Crazybaby Air 1S also introduces an embedded PIFA antenna, the same technology used on smartphones, ensuring a reliably stable connection between athletes' smartphones and the Air 1S earbuds. Also, for the first time, each earbud operates independently of each other, in case the user loses or forgets an earbud - or simply just wants to use only one.

“Crazybaby Air 1S upgrades the classic design with state-of-the-art athlete-minded features," says Allen Zhang, Founder and CEO of Crazybaby. “We believe Air 1S is an exciting breakthrough with wind-resistance, improved connectivity, 3D virtual surround sound and more, to deliver the most advanced athletic wireless headphones to market."

Crazybaby Air 1S is available in 2 classic colors, Star Gray and Space Silver.
