Synaptics Brings Astra AI-Native Platform to CES 2025

December 18 2024, 10:10
Following earlier demonstrations at trade shows all over the world, Synaptics will showcase its Astra AI-Native processing and Veros intelligent connectivity offerings at CES 2025. Synaptics Astra AI-native platform showcases the advantages of purpose-built hardware paired with an open-source development framework, and intelligent connectivity to enable rapid development of context-aware connected devices.

While AI is infused throughout its entire sense, process, and connect portfolio for connected products, Synaptics will specifically demonstrate how its solutions can accelerate the development of Edge AI applications across consumer, enterprise, and industrial markets.

The heart of Synaptics CES presence will be the Synaptics Astra IoT platform, a scalable embedded compute and open-source software solution that is power, performance, cost, and space optimized for multimodal Edge AI workloads. Designed to remove barriers in a fragmented development landscape, Astra is supported by the Machina Foundation Series development kit and the AI Developer Zone. This combination is designed to empower teams to seamlessly integrate AI features into IoT Edge devices and create innovative and personalized context-aware experiences for end users.

The latest Synaptics' Veros connectivity portfolio of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee®, Thread, Matter, and GPS systems on chip (SoCs) complements the processing platform and will be spotlighted as well. The latest Synaptics innovations in audio, speech, touch, biometrics, displays, and video interface will also be demonstrated with applications in mobile, PC, and automotive solutions.

Synaptics is working in bringing AI closer to end users and transforming how consumers engage with intelligent connected devices, whether at home, at work, or on the move. As a go-to partner for forward-thinking product developers, Synaptics offers its cutting-edge Synaptics Astra AI-Native embedded compute, Veros wireless connectivity, and multimodal sensing solutions to make digital experiences smarter, faster, more intuitive, secure, and seamless.
