STMicroelectronics Introduces First STM32 Wireless Module Leveraging Collaboration with Qualcomm

STMicroelectronics introduced the first result of its strategic collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies to simplify development of next-generation STM32-based wireless solutions. The new ST67W611M1 modules combine Wi-Fi6, Bluetooth 5.3 and Thread connectivity to accelerate development of advanced consumer wireless solutions. Applications in home audio and smart home, powered by edge AI are a natural use case.

Virscient Partners with CME Pro to Launch First LiveOnAir Wireless Audio System

Virscient, the engineering development house from New Zealand, has revealed a collaboration with renowned MIDI control manufacturer CME Pro to expand its existing wireless MIDI (WIDI) solution for electronic music creators. The product development result will be the first-ever product to feature LiveOnAir and will allow CME Pro to deliver an ultra-low latency wireless link with audio and MIDI, significantly expanding the creative possibilities for live performance.

During the event, which will be streamed live on Youtube, Jacob Soendergaard (Customer Success Manager at HEAD acoustics) will discuss the impact and interaction of audio systems in the car cabin over communications and privacy and how to assess it according to modern standards.
