Noble Audio Launches FoKus Triumph Premium Earbuds with xMEMS Drivers

March 28 2024, 19:10
Texas-based Noble Audio has launched the FoKus Triumph True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds, showcasing the company's ability to design high-quality hybrid in-ears, this time in a TWS package. Repeating a formula already tested in the Noble Falcon Max TWS, the new FoKus Triumph earbuds are driven by a custom 6.5mm dynamic driver coupled with Cowell, the all-silicon MEMS-based speaker from xMEMS Labs. This brings Noble's signature sound quality to a convenient wireless form-factor, enhanced with xMEMS' solid-state technology.

The FoKus Triumph earbuds are Noble’s third product, following the Falcon Max TWS earbuds and the XM1 wired in-ears, all of which benefit from a strategic partnership with xMEMS. Leveraging xMEMS Cowell to deliver exceptional sound quality, phase coherence, and treble extension, this new TWS design is the latest evidence of Noble Audio's innovation lead in premium portable audio.

Noble Audio designs some of the finest universal and custom in-ear monitors available, primarily targeting personal audio enthusiasts and performing musicians. Since 2018, the Texas-based company has introduced in-earphones with a hybrid structure using various types of drivers. As an example, Noble's Kublai Khan IEM, which has received numerous audio awards, utilizes dynamic drivers, balanced armature drivers, a bone conductor, and a piezoelectric super tweeter. Noble's long experience of tuning a variety of drivers incorporated into a single IEM have been put to great use in the adoption of xMEMS’ MEMS drivers. Another great example of how xMEMS has succeeded in delivering differentiation with its solid-state, all-silicon drivers.

Noble Audio's latest wireless earbuds repeat the successful hybrid formula, incorporating a custom dynamic driver for accurate bass and midrange reproduction with xMEMS' Cowell solid state drivers serving as tweeters. Pre-production units with this hybrid design were tested by hundreds of visitors at xMEMS’ CES suite in January 2024, and they received high marks for sound quality.

The FoKus Triumphn is a Bluetooth 5.3 design based on a Qualcomm Snapdragon Sound platform, which of course supports aptX Adaptive for lossless audio, but also supports Sony's LDAC codec for high-resolution transmission. The premium build quality delivers as well with an Alcantara covered charging case supporting wired and wireless charging, and refined earbuds' ergonomic shells with hand painted faceplates.

The FoKus Triumph' sound signature was professionally tuned by Noble Audio, leveraging years of expertise working on IEMs. With the advantage of an advanced true wireless platform, the company now offers a premium TWS design with Qualcomm TrueWireless Mirroring technology, multipoint Bluetooth connectivity, cVc noise cancelling technology for phone calls, and Hear Through mode. The design also supports easy touch controls and voice assistant support for Siri and Google.

The FoKus Triumph earbuds are shipping now for an MSRP of USD $369
