Founded in 1956, Supreme Group brings a well-established track record of delivering high-quality products and innovative solutions across various industries. The company holds extensive expertise in the automotive industry, specializing in supplying auto electronics, acoustics, and accessories in India. The group is a leading Original Equipment (OE) manufacturer, and for many decades has acted as distributor in India for respected brands such as Sony, Philips, JVC, Clarion, and Nakamichi. In addition, Supreme Group has supported top automotive manufacturers, including Tata, Suzuki, Hyundai, GM, Jeep, Renault, and Ford.
The collaboration with Morel has resulted in the establishment of MS Acoustic Private Limited, a manufacturing venture which will serve as a central hub for mid to high-capacity production lines. This joint venture aims to cater to both Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) hifi and home audio projects, as well as the global automotive sector. The new company will also leverage Morel’s extensive expertise in audio technology, built over nearly five decades, alongside Supreme Group’s significant experience in manufacturing, market insights, and a profound understanding of both Indian and global markets.
“Establishing a facility in India in partnership with Supreme Group is a significant milestone for Morel," says Oren Mordechai, CEO of Morel. "Supreme Group’s expansive experience and deep market knowledge make them the ideal partner for this venture. Their longstanding relationships with global audio brands and major automotive companies align perfectly with our vision to deliver superior audio solutions worldwide."
The decision to set up a manufacturing facility in India also reflects Morel and Supreme Group’s confidence in the Indian economy’s growth and its robust infrastructure. The new facility is designed to enhance manufacturing and R&D capabilities, enabling the joint venture to undertake new projects and meet the increasing global demand for high-quality audio speaker drivers, including in India’s fast growing internal market. As global logistics costs rise and tariffs from China increase, the Indian facility also provides a strategic advantage, offering cost-effective solutions for clients across the supply chain without compromising on quality.
“We are thrilled to work with Morel to push the boundaries of what’s possible in audio technology," adds Sahej Bedi, CEO of Supreme Group, which equally enthusiastic about this collaboration. "Our long-standing expertise in the industry and deep understanding of both local and international markets position us to make MS Acoustic Private Limited a powerhouse in audio manufacturing. With our history of working with esteemed brands like JVC, Clarion, and Nakamichi, as well as automotive giants like Renault and Ford, we are prepared to drive growth and innovation in this sector."
The facility is already operational and adhering to the highest quality standards with ISO certification, ensuring that all products meet rigorous global quality requirements. In addition to bolstering manufacturing capabilities, MS Acoustic Private Limited aims to expand its OEM hifi business and enter the automotive supply chain both in India and internationally.
Established in 1975 and headquartered in Ness Ziona, Israel, Morel is a recognized global source of high-fidelity loudspeakers and audio components. From its origins in the seventies as the original RMS (Gerhard Richter, Meir Mordechai and Ejvind Skaaning) joint-venture that would evolve later into Dynaudio in Denmark, Morel remained in Israel, and gradually expanded its presence worldwide, partnering with OEMs worldwide, and setting industry standards in innovation, sound quality, and craftsmanship.
