According to the company, the new location in Herning is designed to support Scan-Speak’s continued commitment to innovation and quality, allowing for several key strategic benefits, starting with an optimized production environment, that will improve efficiency and workflows for even higher product quality. The new facilities are also a key progression towards sustainability, allowing the company to reduce the environmental impact of its activities through modern, energy-efficient solutions.
Most importantly for a manufacturer that is increasingly present in the global markets, the new Herning facilities will enable enhanced logistics, with faster and more streamlined delivery times for our customers. According to Scan-Speak, the relocation process has already started and will take place in stages throughout 2025. The first phase includes a brand-new production environment dedicated to the assembly of finished speaker systems for OEM/ODM customers. After setting up and installing technical infrastructure and new rooms, transducer production and all other operations will move to Herning after the summer of 2025. The full relocation is expected to be completed during Q3 2025.

Founded in 1970, Scan-Speak develops, designs, and manufactures quality transducers for the high-end audio, automotive aftermarket, and DIY market segments. Scan-Speak drivers are sold directly to a number of OEM/ODM customers and via a well-established network of distributors worldwide, with export sales representing 90% of the company’s business. All its products are manufactured in Denmark, even though in 2014 the company was acquired by Eastern Asia Technology (HK) Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of Taiwan-based Eastech Holding Limited.
