GN Introduces Jabra Enhance Plus True Wireless Earbuds for Discreet Hearing Enhancement

Building on years of research and engineering in sound and hearing, GN extended its Jabra Enhance line of discreet hearing enhancement solutions with a new design that draws directly from the experience of standard true wireless earbuds. The new Jabra Enhance Plus combine hearing enhancement, music streaming and calls in state-of-the-art miniaturized earbuds with a signature design, to help millions of users meet the challenges of daily life.

As a much touted unofficial closing event for CES, Samsung Electronics introduced its latest line of Galaxy smartphones. As the annual tradition mandates, apart from smartphones of multiple sizes, some of which come with a stylus, Samsung also introduced accessories for those phones. In this case, an updated set of True Wireless Earbuds with improved sound quality and intelligent ANC, available in multiple colors, including purple. As a differentiator, the Buds Pro use a two-way driver design.

In another product announcement that didn't go as planned, following a lot of rumors and leaks coming from China, Apple was forced to unveil its latest addition to the AirPods family. As widely anticipated, the AirPods Pro have a new improved design, combining a slightly similar shape to the original loose-fit design, but slightly twisted to support a silicon in-ear tip, in order to make Active Noise Cancellation effective. The all-new lightweight design is now available.

During a special event promoted to announce a new generation of Amazon Alexa products, technologies and solutions, Amazon introduced an all-new line-up of Echo devices to expand its Alexa voice assistant ecosystem in the home and now also on-the-go. The all-new Echo Buds, using ANC technology licensed from Bose, join the Echo Auto as another option to take Alexa outside the home. The new Echo speakers also include the Echo Studio, engineered in collaboration with Dolby and supporting HRA and immersive audio reproduction.

When Jabra launched its Elite 65t and Elite Active 65t models at CES 2018, benefiting from the company’s expertise in wireless audio and hearing aids, it clearly established a benchmark for true wireless earbuds. This year, at IFA 2019 in Berlin, Jabra introduced the Elite 75t, featuring 50 percent more battery in a 20 percent smaller design, while still offering a premium sound and four-microphone technology for calls, fast USB-C charging, and a customizable music listening experience via the Jabra Sound+ app.

As we said previously, the race is on for the winner of the full-wireless earbuds challenge. Doppler Labs is the latest contender with their Here One hearables, promising “The Future of In-Ear Computing”. The difference is this is not your typical crowdfunding project, but a company working for the past three years to perfect the Here One concept, exploring the full potential of personalized earbuds.

Another company has launched a new attempt to break the full-wireless earbuds challenge. This time, French start-up PKparis launched the K’asq Bluetooth 4.1 stereo wireless earbuds, featuring the industry’s longest battery life: 5-hours on-the-go to listen to music or calls. The PKparis earbuds also combine high quality sound with up to -40% noise reduction, anti-fall system and IP55 waterproof and a clever USB 2.0 chargebox providing 8 hours extra charge.
