MobileMan Introduces the World’s Latest Wearable Audio Bluetooth Stereo Speaker System

Bose announced four new headphones, expanding its range with the all new QuietComfort 35 and QuietControl 30 noise cancellation wireless models. The new generation of Bose headphones is a significant technology update, allowing for up to 20 hours of battery life and controllable noise cancellation with personalization features.

Logitech International, also the owner of Ultimate Ears, announced it will acquire Jaybird, the wireless and active lifestyle consumer electronics specialists. With this strategic acquisition, Logitech will leverage its worldwide distribution network to bring Jaybird range of premium Bluetooth headphones and earbuds, sport wearables and wireless software solutions to the global market.

A new study, conducted by a market research institute on behalf of Sennheiser, found that more than half of athletes who engage in sports at least once or twice a month say their headphones help them stay focused, creating a personal space. 27 percent say they do so to block outside noise.

Futuresource Consulting has just completed its latest round of research into the headphones market. According to the new report, the market continues to climb skywards, the global headphones market expanded by nearly 10% in volume last year to reach 286 million units shipped, triggering 16% growth in retail value and revenues of $8.4 billion.

Harman International Industries has acquired Yurbuds, a manufacturer of fitness headphones. Yurbuds will join Harman’s lifestyle division, helping the company to gain foot on the fast-growing niche of sports headphones and wearables, and develop the next generation of headphones designed specifically for athletes.
