Audeze Announces iSINE Series In-Ear Planar Magnetic Headphones

Audeze launched its first in-ear headphones with planar magnetic technology, leveraging all the technology of its LCD series, including patented Fluxor magnets and Fazor waveguides. The new iSINE Series models range in price from only $399 to $599, including Audeze’s Lightning cable. For the new in-ear headphones, Audeze worked closely with BMW’s DesignworksUSA, designing housings that minimize reflections and diffractions and to ensure a comfortable, secure fit, in a smaller, lighter package. At 20 grams, these are the lightest planar headphones so far.

Audeze’s new SINE planar magnetic headphones was one of the most interesting on-ear models introduced at the 2016 CES Show in Las Vegas. They are surprisingly comfortable and truly combine the quality we have learned to expect from Audeze in the lightest headphone to date from the company. Also available with fully integrated Apple Lightning cable.

The news has been around for a while. The industry has decided to ditch the standard analog 3.5mm jack, replacing it for USB-C connectors or, in Apple’s devices, the Lightning cable. Audeze decided to anticipate the benefits of having direct 24-bit audio and introduced its new EL-8 Titanium headphones with support for music and voice.

The all new Audeze LCD-4 planar magnetic technology reference headphones were introduced at RMAF CanJam 2015. The LCD-4 features Audeze’s nano-grade diaphragms and unique Double Fluxor magnet arrays for the most powerful magnetic flux density in existence, an incredible 1.5 Tesla! At RMAF 2015, Audeze also unveiled its new The King Headphone Amplifier designed by Bascom King.

On the heels of rolling out its HA-2 portable headphone amplifier, as promised, OPPO Digital released the PM-3 Closed-Back Planar Magnetic Headphones. The OPPO PM-3 combines true audiophile performance, elegant styling, noise isolation and portability into a pair of sleek lightweight planar magnetic headphones.
