Diodes announced the PI3HDX12221, an HDMI 2.1 active switch with linear ReDriver that enables manufacturers of TVs, PCs, gaming consoles, and set-top boxes to adopt the latest 12Gbps HDMI standard. The device supports dual inputs with a signal cleaning function that enables extending channel lengths. Optimizing function integration into a single package reduces system BOM and power consumption, particularly when compared to an equivalent discrete solution.

DB Enterprises announced availability of four new off-the-shelf headphone drivers from VM Sound using liquid silicone rubber (LSR) surround technology. Available in 7mm, 9.2mm, 13.4mm, and 40mm sizes, these drivers are available with different diaphragm materials, including Nomex, aluminum and magnesium alloy. PCB Completes Construction of $1 Million Clean Room Facility

As a leading global sensor supplier, PCB Piezotronics continues to invest in state-of-the-art pressure assembly operations. The company, a wholly owned subsidiary of MTS Systems Corporation, announced the completion of new environmentally controlled clean rooms totaling 4,300 sq. ft. at their Walden Avenue headquarters. Earlier this year, the sensor manufacturer began assembly of all pressure and force products in this new state-of-the-art facility.
