PSB Speakers launched the SubSeries BP8 Powered Subwoofer, the first in a new generation of premium subwoofers featuring Analog Devices DSP and Hypex nCore amplification, dual 8" carbon fiber cone drivers, and advanced isolation from IsoAcoustics. The 500-watt BP8 was precision engineered with proprietary drivers in a sealed enclosure to deliver breakthrough performance for any music and home theater configuration. Hifi components with wood panels are back! NAD Electronics is the latest audio manufacturer to embark on the retro trend with the C 3050 Stereophonic Amplifier. The classic seventies hifi component will be introduced at the 2023 High End show in Munich, Germany, where demonstration sessions of the C 3050 Stereophonic Amplifier will run in Room D108 in Atrium 3. Retro design elements include front-panel VU meters, push-button input controls, 1970s cursive branding, walnut-finished vinyl-clad cabinet, and a dark grey front panel.

Hypex Presents New Nilai500 DIY Audio Amplifier Module

Following the announcement of the new and improved NCOREx Class-D amplifier technology, Hypex has also reserved a surprise for this year's High End Show in Munich. In a completely separate announcement, Hypex will be launching the Nilai500DIY module, which is specified to deliver 500W with 1% THD @4 ohms and will improve output noise and idle losses significantly, compared to the popular NC400 module. This, the Dutch company says, is a completely new unique amplifier module that sets a new benchmark for high-end audio applications.
