Test Bench: Tang Band Speaker W8-2314 High-End Coaxial Driver

This Test Bench characterizes the W8-2314, a new 8" high-end home audio coaxial driver from Tang Band (TB) Speaker. The TB Speaker W8-2314 is built on an eight-spoke two-part ABS injection-molded frame that incorporates a separate injection-molded trim ring. Incorporated into the frame is the underhung-type woofer motor that consists of a circular array of six neodymium slugs - an arrangement that makes room for the concentrically mounted 25 mm tweeter and tweeter rear cavity. Danish loudspeaker legend Dynaudio celebrated the grand opening of its new headquarters for North and South American operations with its Annual Rep Summit, held Aug. 21-22, in the Chicago suburb of Northbrook, Illinois. The 25,000-square-foot facility is dedicated largely to the new Dynaudio Experience Center, which will be utilized for product demonstrations and dealer and sales rep training sessions, as well as housing a larger warehouse to support product demand in the region.
