As promised, OPPO Digital announced that the firmware upgrade that enables the Dolby Vision feature in its UDP-203/UDP-205 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc players is now available on the company's website. This new firmware makes the OPPO UDP-203 and UDP-205 the first Blu-ray Disc players to support Dolby Vision, elevating the players to a whole new level of video performance, apart from the outstanding audio features offered by both models.

Yamaha released a major firmware update for the company’s TF series digital mixers, bringing with it significantly expanded audio networking capability. The firmware update — version 3.1 — allows TF consoles and the recently released TF-RACK equipped with an NY64-D Dante interface card to connect to audio networks, such as Ravenna, that support the AES67 audio-over-IP interoperability standard.

Audinate announced a firmware update for OEMs building low channel-count audio audio network products with dedicated 4-channel input (4x0) or output (0x4) configurations at 96kHz, while minimum device latency has been reduced from 2ms to 1ms for both 2x2 and 4x4 versions.
