Audinate Releases New Version of Dante Controller Software with Dante Updater Feature

Audinate, the developer of the industry-leading Dante networking technology, has announced the availability of its new Dante Controller software v4.2.3, now with Dante Updater. Dante Updater is a new feature that makes it easy to update firmware in Dante devices, supporting discovery and installation of firmware updates from manufacturers of Dante-enabled products. Apple AirPlay 2 is a push update through the KEF Control App to KEF LSX Wireless Music Systems, available now. AirPlay 2 perfectly complements LSX’s ease of use with a streamlined setup process through the Apple Home app. All the KEF app functions are still available, including the powerful speaker sound settings.

Bryston has introduced native support for the Qobuz streaming music service as an available firmware update for Bryston’s BDP Music Players. With the update, users will be able to access Qobuz' high-resolution 24-bit/up to 192 kHz streaming service, and stream uncompressed content from a library of well over 40 million tracks representing every imaginable style including jazz and classical music. Qobuz first became available in Europe in 2007 and is now also available in the US.

Sennheiser Wireless Now Dante Domain Manager Ready

At InfoComm 2018, Sennheiser has announced that its industry-standard wireless microphone systems such as the new evolution wireless G4, SpeechLine Digital Wireless, Digital 6000 and Digital 9000 are now compatible with Audinate’s Dante Domain Manager (DDM) for a fully integrated audio networking solution. The upgrade is provided free of charge via firmware updates to Sennheiser’s SL DI 4 XLR Dante interface, the EM 6000 DANTE microphone receiver and EM 9046 DAN Dante card for the Digital 9000 wireless microphone system.
