Award-winning film sound engineer Dennis S. Sands has upgraded his private Sound Waves SB studio with a new multi-channel Meyer Sound cinema loudspeaker system for mixing in Dolby Atmos. The Atmos integration using existing components for the audio distribution, processing and monitoring chain was successfully achieved using Dante audio network technology.

Kramer Electronics and Audinate have announced that Kramer has become the 150th Dante manufacturer to license Audinate’s Dante networking solution. Kramer explains the decision was taken after evaluating all other audio over IP networking technologies and finding that Dante was “the most requested audio networking technology in the market.”
