Audio Precision Releases APx500 V4.0 Software

Audio test specialist, Audio Precision, announced V4.0 software is available for download free of charge by all APx system users. The release coincides with the commencement of APx555 shipments, AP’s newest audio analyzer. The new software now provides a multi-mode user interface for the entire APx family of analyzers, adding user-selectable automated measurement sequences.

Audio Precision marked its 30th year in business with the public debut of its new high-performance audio analyzer at the 137th International AES Convention. The APx555 outperforms the legendary Audio Precision 2700 Series, the previous leader in analog audio performance, and delivers improved flexibility, automation and ease-of-use for developers of audio components, equipment and systems.

Audio Precision announced the launch of their new groundbreaking audio analyser the APx555. The new analyser resets the brand’s recognised standard in audio test with unmatched analog performance and a typical residual THD+N of -120 dB, the lowest in the world, providing audio professionals with unparalleled insight into their designs.
