The APx B series now features a new High Performance Sine Generator and a High Performance Sine Analyzer, which Audio Precision claims reduces THD+N to better than -120 dB, with a 1 MHz bandwidth and Fast Fourier Transforms (FFTs) of up to 1.2 million points. Audio Precision New Module Enables MEMS Microphone Array Testing with Simultaneous Analysis of Up to 16 PDM Channels

Audio Precision introduced the PDM 16 module for its APx500 Series audio analyzers. The new module offers simultaneous acquisition and measurement of up to 16 channels of PDM signals, making it the highest channel-count solution available for MEMS microphone and MEMS mic array testing. The new option supports anechoic tests with the acoustically silent remote pod that can be positioned at up to 10 meters, feeding 16 phase-aligned channels on 8 data lines with accurate measurements via a delay-calibrated module.

Audio Precision Releases APx Software Version 5.0 Adding Transfer Function Measurement, Cross-Spectral Analysis Of Arbitrary, Broadband Signals

With the announcement of its brand new APx555 B Series two-channel audio analyzer, Audio Precision also unveiled the updated version 5.0 of its APx audio measurement software. With this release, AP has added the ability to measure the transfer function of electronic audio and electroacoustic devices using any broadband signal. Release 5.0 also enables electronic activation of software option licenses, eliminating the iButton requirement for such options with earlier versions of APx audio measurement software.
