The WiSA booth debuted the new Platin Audio Monaco 5.1.2, which is the first WiSA HT Certified separates-based solution on the market that incorporates true Dolby Atmos up-firing drivers for an immersive and spatial audio experience with multiple kinds of content. The system will retail for $1,499 at select stores in the US and online beginning mid-October. This extremely affordable system is currently the market reference for Dolby Atmos using WiSA technology, with Hansong the original manufacturer placing great hopes that will be a strong motivator for many other consumer brands.
Prior to CEDIA 2022, the Platin Audio Monaco 5.1.2 was awarded a CE Pro BEST (Best Electronics Systems Technologies) Award in the Home Theater/Multi-Room Audio/Video category. All winners of this prestigious award were announced at the CEDIA 2022 Expo. Lithe Audio’s Pro Series Wi-Fi Multiroom Ceiling Speaker, a WiSA HT Certified product, was awarded a CE Pro BEST (Best Electronics Systems Technologies) Award in the Architectural Speakers under $1,000. The Platin Audio Monaco 5.1.2 was also named a Silver award winner for the 2022 Merit Awards for Technology in the Consumer Products/Electronics category.

At the same time, the WiSA Association booth displayed a new WiSA app, designed for both iOS and Android devices, that works with the award-winning WiSA SoundSend transmitter device and facilitates an incredibly easy set-up, control and tuning when using WiSA HT Certified speakers from any brand. Otherwise, all WiSA Ready TVs, gaming PCs and console systems are “ready” to transmit audio to WiSA Certified speakers when a WiSA USB Transmitter is plugged in and a user interface is activated through an app or product design like LG TVs.

And talking about LG, during CEDIA the leading TV brand introduced multiple new LG OLED TVs including C2, G2 Series, Z2 Signature Series, ART90, LX1, LX3, QNED99 and QNED90 Series all having earned WiSA SoundSend Certification and adding to growing number of WiSA SoundSend Certified TVs. The WiSA SoundSend Certification program, which launched just in 2021, verifies TVs work flawlessly with the WiSA SoundSend wireless audio transmitter. These LG TVs received WiSA SoundSend Certification after successful testing earlier in September 2022.
"We are excited that LG TVs including our line of critically acclaimed 2022 LG OLED TVs are now WiSA SoundSend Certified. Certifying our TVs to work perfectly with WiSA technology is important for LG,” says David Park, LG’s Head of Customer Value Enablement for Home Entertainment. “The WiSA SoundSend is a revolutionary product that increases the interoperability of modern TVs and enhances the already impressive functionality of our LG OLED C2 TV."
Connecting the WiSA SoundSend to TVs like the LG OLED C2 TV instantly upgrades any home theater setup. The mark of a WiSA SoundSend Certification ensures picture-perfect, tightly synchronized sound from all WiSA HT Certified speakers. The Association is witnessing a growing number of WiSA SoundSend Certified TVs that can all sync to speakers through the SoundSend to complete amazing and immersive surround sound experiences.
