WiSA Association announced that Danish manufacturer Buchardt Audio's Sub10 low-profile subwoofer has earned WiSA HT Interoperability Certification. The new high-performance, long throw sub strengthens Buchardt's WiSA Certified wireless speaker catalog which includes the A500 monitor, the Anniversary 10 monitor and the A700 tower and provides enthusiasts with a versatile and powerful subwoofer to solidify the lower octaves of their home listening experience.

WiSA Association, the subsidiary of WiSA Technologies, and CITECH, a leading South Korean manufacturer, announced the two companies have entered into a strategic partnership designed to integrate WiSA's latest WiSA E wireless audio software solution into CITECH's HiFi ROSE line of media streamers. CITECH showcased its WiSA E transmitter and corresponding receiver modules at the High End 2024 show in Munich.

WiSA Technologies has partnered with Fraunhofer IIS and StreamUnlimited to demonstrate the possibilities of Fraunhofer's upHear spatial audio rendering solution in combination with wireless multichannel home theater systems, streaming over a WiSA E configuration. This makes use of Fraunhofer's upHear Flexible Rendering, which has been designed to bring immersive audio experiences into any room without restrictions of fixed speaker placements or audio source content.

Following the confirmation that Hisense would be introducing WiSA E wireless audio software on their TVs, WiSA Technologies announced an implementation of WiSA E direct from a Philips HDTV to external speakers. WiSA Technologies has added 3-channel output capabilities to its WiSA E receiver module. This capacity lowers the cost of Atmos-based soundbars and minimizes the number of speakers required for true immersive audio.
