As announced in 2024, Bose is now licensing its acclaimed audio technologies through Bragi's scalable platform and ecosystem, enabling the seamless integration of Bose's Active Noise Cancellation, Immersive Audio, and AI Voice. This powerful combination provides brands with the opportunity to elevate their products and differentiate themselves in a competitive headphone and earbud market.
Bragi was a key partner in this Skullcandy launch, playing a strategic role in enabling the sound by Bose integration and powering the smart audio platform behind it. As the technology partner behind Skull-iQ, Bragi worked closely with Skullcandy to create an intelligent, connected solution that is more than just standout hardware. The new Skullcandy Method 360 ANC earbuds are a great demonstration of a strong outcome for the partnership.

In terms of design, the Method 360 ANC earbuds could have been clearly another product from Bose, with Skullcandy adding the spark and irreverence that will make it stand-out in this very competitive segment. Marketed as lifestyle product breaking barriers in personal audio, the Method 360 ANC earbuds are effectively a premium product engineered for high-quality audio, advanced noise canceling, and everyday style. And yet, in typical Skullcandy fashion, the Method 360 ANC launches at an MSRP of $129.99, with an early launch price of $99.99.
“Skullcandy, in partnership with Bose, is breaking barriers in personal audio with the release of Method 360 ANC. Designed for those who want it all – sound quality, comfort, and design – without breaking the bank, this is Skullcandy's most advanced audio experience to date,” states the Utah-based company.
“This product sets a new standard," says Justin Regan, VP of Marketing at Skullcandy. "We're launching at $99.99 because we want more people to hear what's next. But make no mistake – Method 360 ANC belongs in the premium tier."
Combining a refined fit and redesigned experience, the new Method 360 ANC design stands-out with its all-new slider charging case with a built-in O-ring clip. Choice of materials give it an upgraded tactile finish, while the form-factor also adds up to 40 hours of battery life. The ergonomic, ovalized design is very Bose-like, and aims to provide all-day comfort and an optimal noise-isolating fit. The earbuds come with multiple sets of fit fins and gels that leverage licensed technology from Bose for a secure, ultra-comfortable fit and superior noise isolation.

Specifications detail a playtime of up to 9 hours per charge with ANC turned on, which is a new reference, with a rapid charge of 10 minutes providing 2 hours of playtime. An adjustable Hybrid Active Noise Canceling implementation with 4 microphones enables customizable Stay-Aware mode options. The Clear Voice Smart Mic feature provides a reduction in background noise to ensure calls are crystal clear. A low latency audio mode provides the best experience for watching videos or playing games. The earbuds have auto on/connect and wear detection and are IPX4 sweat and water resistant.
The Skull-iQ App Compatible unlocks the full potential of the Method 360 ANC earbuds, allowing users to choose one of 3 preset EQ settings or customize their own, reconfigure the button functions, adjust transparency and ANC modes, and more.
The Skullcandy Method 360 ANC earbuds are a Bluetooth 5.3 design with LE Audio support, featuring Spotify Tap, Google Fast Pair, and Multipoint Pairing, as well as Natural Voice Sidetone for Calls that counteract occlusion.
The new Skullcandy Method 360 ANC earbuds with Sound by Bose technology are now available globally in five unique colorways including Black, Bone, Primer, Plasma, and Leopard.
