Jabra, the personal sound and hybrid work solutions brand from GN Group, launched the Elite 4, the latest addition to its successful true wireless earbuds Elite lineup. The new design maintains the already familiar form-facto and basically updates the Bluetooth platform to support 5.2 and gain Bluetooth Multipoint connectivity and easy pairing with Fast Pair and Swift Pair. It also adds 4-mic call technology.
Following in the footsteps of the entry-level Jabra Elite 3, the new true wireless earbuds offer an elevated experience from its predecessor, ideal for users of Android devices seeking advanced features at an affordable price. The new Jabra Elite 4 earbuds still doesn't support AAC, and does offer Qualcomm aptX only, which means that users of source devices that don't support aptX will be restricted to basic SBC. Apart from that, the new Elite 4 expand on the original Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) earbuds with fine-tuned 6mm drivers, allowing for expanded 5.5 hours of use even with ANC on (7 hours with ANC off) in the same compact, lightweight IP55-rated design.
Just like the other Elite models, the Jabra Elite 4 has been tailored to provide comfort, optimal sound and convenience of Android users. The update Bluetooth radio now supports two different devices simultaneously, by adding Bluetooth Multipoint, while the initial pairing of earbuds to a device is simple, with Android Fast Pair connecting instantly to a mobile device and Swift Pair linking straight to a Windows laptop or computer, and keeping up to 6 Bluetooth devices ready to connect.
Leveraging the ANC design, the Elite 4 are engineered for crystal-clear sound with 4-microphone call technology so users can rest assured that they will be heard loud and clear. For those seeking tailored listening experiences, the Jabra music equalizer and intuitive Sound+ app lets users customize the sound to suit their individual tastes.
The earbuds are made with premium durable materials that offer an IP55 durability rating against dust and water and come in four classic colors: Dark Gray, Navy, Lilac and Light Beige.
"The modern earbud user is looking for tech that's ready for work and play at their fingertips, while not compromising on key features," says Calum MacDougall, SVP at Jabra. "The Elite 4 offers a solution to this and is the perfect well-rounded design to help users to concentrate, connect and call without distractions."
The Jabra Elite 4 is available for $99.99 MSRP, which is a new level of affordability for this level of specifications for the brand.
