Jabra Elite 65e Brings Total Noise Cancellation Solution with Bluetooth 5

Audio and communications technology specialist Jabra announced that it has expanded its Elite family of headphones and earbuds to provide the best combined voice and music experience, with the Jabra Elite 65e. These neckband wireless earbuds are engineered for best-in-class wireless calls and music. They feature Jabra's leading Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) solution, providing two levels of noise cancellation and challenging existing products in the market.

The new Jabra Elite 65e was designed to cancel out disruptive background sounds, like standing on a noisy train platform, or walking through a busy downtown street, using Jabra's total noise cancellation solution – with optimized engineering for both active and passive noise cancellation. The Jabra Elite 65e also offers incredible conversation quality with three-microphone technology (two outer microphones used for optimizing transmitted audio in each earbud, and one microphone in the mic box) that creates a noise-blocking zone, ensuring the user's voice is conveyed with crystal-clear clarity.

The first level of Elite 65e noise cancellation is delivered via a combination of uniquely designed earbuds and Jabra EarGels. Jabra's oval shaped earbuds are engineered to ensure a better fit in the ear canal – in combination with the eargels for a perfect grip, they provide an optimal seal for the passive noise cancellation of ambient sounds. Extensively tested in Jabra's sound lab, the eargels improve the quality of the listening experience – not only by adding passive noise cancellation, but also refining the bass in the music.

The second level of Elite 65e noise cancellation is delivered via Jabra's proven Active Noise Cancellation solution that digitally removes additional noise levels. Having included ANC in professional headsets for years, Jabra now brings its leading, business grade ANC to consumers – providing superior total noise cancellation to the wider audience.

Apart from professional-grade Active Noise Cancellation, other key features of the Elite 65e include a battery that lasts up to 8 hours when using Active Noise Cancellation, and an incredible 13 hours with ANC turned off, with an IP54-rated design, and 2-year warranty against water and dust. The companion Jabra Sound+ app also allows users to personalize the sound.

Drawing on the GN Group's long-standing audio, headset and hearing aid expertise, the Elite franchise is engineered to meet the needs of users looking not only for outstanding music quality and voice capabilities, but also for consumers who are using voice assistants. With the Elite 65e users can instantly connect to Alexa, Siri or Google Assistant, allowing to quickly get information, setting appointments, finding nearby events, or having their messages read back to them. The Jabra Elite 65e can be used all day, thanks to a battery that lasts up to 8 hours when using ANC, and an incredible 13 hours with ANC turned off, combined with a premium design that allows wearing the Elite 65e comfortably for the length of the battery life.

"The Jabra Elite 65e is perfect for the on-the-go user who wants noise blocked out, allowing for great conversations and music. We are well-known for our noise cancellation capabilities in the enterprise market, and this professional engineering allows us to offer an unrivaled solution for all consumers. The voice command capabilities and outstanding battery life, in combination with the comfortable fit, make the earbuds your best all-day, everyday companion," states Calum MacDougall, SVP at Jabra.

The Jabra Elite 65e will be available in selected retailers at MSRP 199 USD/EUR from April 2018.
