Digital fibre solutions specialists, Optocore GmbH, have entered into an agreement with fellow German manufacturers Fohhn Audio AG, to provide multi-channel digital connectivity to their pioneering Linea Focus electronically steerable loudspeakers. The solution provides digital audio and control data distribution, simultaneously, either via Cat5 or optical fibre.

Audinate Brings Dante to NewTek’s TalkShow and Quicklink TX Skype TX Solutions

In 2013, Microsoft announced it would license its professional Skype TX to the broadcast industry. In 2014, three manufacturers were awarded the required license: Riedel (Germany), NewTek (USA) and Quicklink (UK). Now, Audinate confirmed its Dante media networking software has been integrated with Skype TX and both the NewTek TalkShow and Quicklink TX units.

Revel, the Harman high-end home-audio brand, entered into a 10-year agreement to offer Revel brand OEM audio systems installed in Ford Lincoln automobiles. This agreement is the first time the Revel brand will appear in a factory car audio sound system, as was done previously with the Harman JBL and Infinity brands.
