Covering Audio and Video technology for more than 30 years - Broadcast, Film, Computer Graphics, and Music - as founder and editor of several leading publications in Portuguese and Spanish languages, (he's also fluent in French!), he benefits from a broad and rich perspective of those sectors and its multiple verticals. Marketing and Communication Specialist working at the intersection of media and technology for over three decades, Joao Martins started as a musician and studied visual arts and cinema before founding its own (short-lived) advertising agency. Yamaha RIVAGE PM10 New Generation Large Format Digital Mixing Consoles Introduced at InterBEE 2014

Yamaha announced the first of a new generation of large format digital mixing consoles at the InterBEE (International Broadcast Equipment Exhibition) Show in Japan. The new RIVAGE PM10 features a new TWINLANe ring network backbone, able to handle up to 400 audio channels at 96kHz, features the RY16-ML-SILK mic preamplifier with digital modeling of Rupert Neve Designs’ circuits and new effects by TC Electronic and Eventide.

Dutch company Cymatic Audio introduced the uTrack 24, a universal hardware recorder / player / interface in 19" format, designed for people who want to do high-quality recordings without the need of a computer. The uTrack 24 also turns into a powerful and comprehensive audio interface when used under OS X, Windows and iOS and Cymatic promises the uTrack 24 will be able to playback standard MIDI data.

In a way, challenging the tremendous success of the very affordable but extremely powerful Behringer X32 digital console family.
