OneOdio Studio Max 1 Hi-Res Audio DJ Wireless Headphones
Coming from a Hong Kong-based brand with a very unfortunate name (numerous Chinese brands don't bother to check what their names mean in other languages... "Odio" is Latin for Hate), the new Studio Max 1 headphones are an interesting new wireless proposition. Using a dedicated transmitter with ultra-low latency, the Studio Max 1 headphones are able to deliver a reliable, fast 20ms connection.

2025 AES International Conference on Headphone Technology, Finland
The Audio Engineering Society promotes two major conventions every year, one in Europe and another in the US. And yet, its themed conferences, some happening only every two years, are by far the most insightful and successful events, as seen particularly with the recent Automotive Audio events and, of course, the Headphone technology conferences. The next one is scheduled to take place in Finland, in the same Aalto University where the 2023 AES Europe conference was so successfully held.

The motor is an FEA-optimized neodymium magnet and a 1.4" voice coil with a nonconducting fiberglass former.

Modern Op-Amp Distortion Tests: Part 2 — A Few More BJT Types and JFET Devices
Many new op-amp types have appeared in the last decade, and Douglas Self thought it was time to evaluate those for distortion performance. In Part 1 of his article, he measured BJT-input devices using a similar protocol for five different loads and testing for basic op-amp distortion in favorable circumstances. In this second article, the measurement of BJT types is concluded, and he moves the JFET types to the test bench.
