Apogee Electronics Announces MiC 96k for Windows and Mac

USB microphones are not considered alternatives to established standard professional microphones, but they already managed to carve a market niche for its convenience in applications like podcasting and voice-overs. The popularity of mobile devices like the iPhone and iPad have opened that market to more sophisticated and practical alternatives, such as the Apogee MiC, a USB/iOS condenser microphone with cardioid pickup pattern, and built-in preamp with gain control. Now Apogee announced the MiC 96k, also compatible for Windows 10, apart from Mac.

Acoustic treatment and insulation specialist, Vicoustic, has launched a new doorless, portable, and affordable acoustic booth with a wood structure and window, ideal for voice-over or instrument practice without bothering neighbors.
