Avid Releases Pro Tools 12.2 with Plug-in Bundles, New Features, and Lower Pricing

Avid announced a new software update for its industry-standard digital audio software, Avid Pro Tools, now with bundled plug-ins that deliver even more value to upgrade and support plans, and a new reduced price for perpetual licenses. Pro Tools is now even more affordable and includes enhanced workflow features.

Cakewalk announced its latest SONAR “Gloucester” release introduces support for Microsoft’s new Windows 10 operating system plus numerous enhancements and fixes. The company is also offering a free demo or Rapture Pro, Cakewalk’s latest virtual instrument for Mac and Windows.

As promised, Steinberg released the new version of their award-winning audio post-production software. Nuendo 7 includes seamless integration with Audiokinetic Wwise middleware for game production, in-built re-conforming solution for audio-to-picture post work, VCA fader support, advanced project collaboration tools, brand-new rendering options and much more.

VUE Audiotechnik announced a new version of its SystemVUE software for network monitoring and control at InfoComm 2015. The software, which allows users to access and control VUE equipment via a wired or wireless Ethernet connection, now runs on iPad, offers a significantly updated user interface and access to powerful 10-band fully parametric EQ on each system input, among the latest features.
