Lattice Announces Nexus Low Power FPGA Platform for Edge Applications

Lattice Semiconductor announced its new low power FPGA platform, Lattice Nexus. The platform is architected to deliver power-efficient performance that will benefit developers of a wide range of applications, including voice processing and edge computing for connected devices. Built with innovations at every level of design, from solutions, to architecture, to circuit, the new Lattice Nexus FPGAs deliver higher system performance at significantly reduced power consumption.

Lattice Semiconductor announced the expansion of its Lattice Snap wireless connector product family to support broader adoption of 60 GHz wireless technology in consumer and embedded applications. The solution allows direct replacing of physical interfaces such as USB and HDMI in consumer devices using short-range wireless technology, allowing waterproof, thinner products that are less prone to mechanical failures.

Shortly after the publication of the new HDMI 2.1 specification by the HDMI Forum, Lattice Semiconductor announced the release of the SiI9437 and SiI9438, the first HDMI 2.1 Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) audio receiver and transmitter devices. This allows manufacturers to start implementing solutions that benefit from the self-discovering, self-configuring and fully automatic HDMI Audio Link for flawless home theater experiences.
