LG TONE Studio Wearable Around the Neck Personal Surround Speakers and Earbuds Now Available

Introduced at CES 2017 as part of a large range of new personal audio concepts, LG Electronics (LG) announced the availability of its LG TONE Studio wearable personal surround speaker and earbuds featuring a combination of high-quality 32-bit DAC, four speakers - two full range on the top and two vibrating on the bottom - and neckband earbuds, designed in consultation with DTS. The concept allows a personal surround sound experience when watching a movie, playing a video game or simply streaming music.

While truly wireless earbuds are still being perfected and for users demanding more than just 5 hours of music listening, the wireless neckband designs are still one of best available choices, a convenient and comfortable form factor. Sennheiser thinks so and, at CES 2017, introduced its new HD1 In-Ear Momentum Wireless with a unique "leather" neckband, high quality dynamic drivers and all the latest wireless technology, providing extended battery life.

LG Electronics is showing new concepts for wearable sound at CES 2017, with the unveiling of its LG TONE Studio and LG TONE Free designs, combining its already familiar neckband concept with new wireless charging earbuds and a new approach to personal surround sound on a wearable. The lineup will be led by the new LG TONE Studio wearable speakers capable of delivering surround sound and the LG TONE Free earphones with truly wireless earbuds that charge when docked in the companion neckband.

Lucid Audio, a subsidiary of a hearing aid company, is now turning up the volume on the audio entertainment device industry with its own smart technology applied on headphones and other wireless products. The company announced its new AMPED products that are able to enhance music and calls by providing users with up to 9x amplification of outside ambient sounds so they can hear exactly what they want, when they want.
