Bold North Audio Expands Range with New Carbon Fiber Cone Woofers

American audio solutions manufacturer MISCO announced the introduction of the BWF-6503, a 6.5" red carbon fiber woofer, and the BMW-4001, a 4" carbon fiber midwoofer to its growing line of premium and performance-based drivers. The two new designs are Klippel Verified and manufactured under the Bold North Audio brand in MISCO’s facility in St. Paul, Minnesota.

American audio solutions manufacturer, MISCO, announced the introduction of the BDT-2901, a high performance 29mm soft dome tweeter to add to its growing line of premium and high-performance drivers, all designed and manufactured under the Bold North Audio brand in its St. Paul, Minnesota facility. Expanding the brand's catalog, this new driver was designed to meet requests for a precision 29mm dome tweeter with a low crossover point, ideal for use in a two-way system paired with a 6.5” or 8” woofer.

The annual ALMA International Symposium & Expo (AISE) 2019, took place June 9–10 at the DoubleTree by Hilton at Universal Orlando, just prior to InfoComm 2019. Once again, it was the strongest event ever for anyone in the loudspeaker and electroacoustic development in general. Bold North Audio MS10-W Introduces Direct Replacement Mid-Woofer for Yamaha NS10 Studio Monitors

MISCO recently unveiled a brand new version of a legendary driver. The new MS10-W, will be marketed under the new MISCO brand, Bold North Audio, and it is effectively a direct replacement for the famous white driver on Yamaha’s NS10 studio monitors! The MS10-W actually includes a lightweight white flat profile seamed paper cone with a white paper convex dust cap, and compliance is provided by a 12 mm wide coated cloth surround and a 3.25” diameter cupped cloth spider.

MISCO announced that, as of January 1, Tom James has joined their engineering group to serve in the newly created role of Senior Engineer of Applications and Design. Tom James is well known and highly respected among speaker designers. Earning his BSEET with Audio Elective degree from Western Kentucky University in 1985, Tom’s practical experience includes over 30 years in positions conducting loudspeaker development.
